About Us

A measured approach:

At Measured Dental Care, our goal is ultimately to bring our clients to the point where only routine check-ups and cleaning appointments are necessary. From your first appointment, we want to gain a clear understanding of your dental history and lifestyle. Then, we work with you to create a strategic treatment plan to best suit your goals, life stage and budget.

A lot of the major dental work we perform on new clients is due to mismanaged problems over the long term. Short-sighted dental work can cause pain and unnecessary expense over time, and we want to prevent that.

Our measured approach to your dental care ensures that potential problems are identified early on, minimising the need for major dental work down the track. When clients present with existing issues, we always suggest a treatment plan that will restore dental structure and health for the long term. Quick band-aid fixes are not what we do, and we won't recommend them.

Dr Chai Lim

Dentist

Dr Chai Lim is a fixer. He likes problems and he's really good at solving them. Specialising in reconstructive work and continuing care, Chai is focused on individualised care, and views his clients as collaborators in stabilising their dental health.

For Chai, this is not just about dentistry – people are at the heart of why he loves this work. Chai is proud of the effusive client recommendations and industry acknowledgements, but he is equally proud of the fact that many of his staff and clients have been with him for over a decade.

Qualification
Bachelor Dental Science (University Western Australia) 1996

Community engagement
Chai participates in the annual Ride for Youth, and has directly helped to raise over $390,000 for Youth Focus. This charity provides vital mental health services for at risk youth, free of charge.
The five day event sees Chai ride from Albany to Perth as part of a team, stopping along the way to present to local high schools, where team members engage with students on issues of suicide, depression and self harm.

Jessica Cole

Hygienist

Jessica has been enthusiastic about dental health and honing her craft for nearly two decades. With a holistic understanding of the way dental health impacts on other systems in the body, Jessica helps connect the dots for patients who want to reverse gum disease, reduce their risk of heart disease and for pregnant clients, reduce the risk of delivering a low birth weight baby.

Jessica is definitely a people person. She always looks forward to catching up with patients, and she says getting to see her co-workers every day is one of the best parts of her job.
